Ultimate School Parties Offered

MIDDLBURY, Conn. – Parent organizations at regional schools can put a new twist on their plans for chaperoned parties following high school proms and graduation ceremonies. “Quassy After Dark” – the ultimate school party - is a new program Quassy Amusement Park will offer for the spring of 2006. Being booked now on a first-come basis, participating schools will have exclusive use of the lakeside property during their private “after dark” event. Two-hour programs being coordinated by the Quassy’s professional planning staff can include a street dance with a disc jockey, arcade games with prizes, scavenger hunts, exciting rides and food packages. School organizers may tailor their party and incorporate a variety of options available at the park. A standard two-hour “Quassy After Dark” party would include a dance and arcade games during the first hour, with six thrill rides in operation for the second hour. Only one school will be allowed on the park property during the scheduled time frame – affording students and chaperones the opportunity to enjoy exclusive use of Quassy’s program. Quassy Amusement Park will celebrate its 98th season in 2006. The 20-acre park features more than two-dozen rides and attractions, redemption arcade, beach, “Saturation Station” interactive water play area, restaurant and games. Quassy is currently booking 2006 catered outings, school educational workshops and birthday parties.
